kanjiba is a static website. You do not need an account, and we have no forms that collect your personal information.

Data stored in your browser

Some settings are saved in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time: light/dark theme, grid or table view, whether romaji is shown, and your flashcard progress. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Tools that run in your browser

The furigana generator and kanji search run entirely in your browser; the text you type is not sent anywhere. Pronunciation uses your operating system's built-in voice (Web Speech API).

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking individual visitors. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings, and learn more in how Google uses data in advertising. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before such cookies are used.

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
